The Défi Azimut is an atypical event in the offshore race world born 15 years ago. It’s the meeting between the IMOCA class which gathers together the skippers of the Vendée Globe and the Lorient-based company Azimut. It also aims to combine performance, innovation and strategy.

This is the Défi Azimut’s flagship event: one 48-hours sea passage, one skipper and one OBR (on-board reporter)
in the run-up to the Vendée Globe.
The boats will complete a looped circuit in the Atlantic Ocean and you’ll be able to track
their progress via the online cartography.
