After 30 years of competition, Gildas Morvan took a two-year break.
Today he is taking again the helm of a Figaro 3, and he plays double in an IMOCA season. A nice awards list for a long career: he took part in the Olympics in 1996 in Atlanta in Soling, in the America’s Cup in 1995, he spent 19 years on the circuit Figaro, was a quadruple champion of France, has four podiums and 6 stage victories on the Solitaire du Figaro, was 2nd on the Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe in 2006, 4th on the Transat Jacques Vabre in 2006 and has now a real want to do IMOCA again.
